Mission Study Bible

Missiological Review of the MOGSB

October 23, 2012, 0 Comments

As many of my friends know, I spent nearly two years working through the study notes for a study Bible. It was a labor of love to work with Ed Stetzer and team from B&H Publishing on The Mission of God Study Bible.

Through its short history now, we’ve received a great deal of encouragement on the helpfulness of the project. I was especially honored by the kindness of the folks at MissoNexus. They spent a great deal of time with the study Bible and posted a review that it helpful in understanding the point of such a study Bible.

Additionally, Marv Newell, the senior vice president of MissioNexus, took some time to interview us about the project. We had the chance to talk the mission of God, seeing it theologically throughout the Scriptures, and how every believer can be active in it.  You can listen to the podcast here.
