What is Advent?

Advent is a special holiday season that most traditional and liturgical churches celebrate to focus on the profound meaning of Christmas. It is more than just wreaths and candles. It goes beyond a few days on the calendar. Advent is a rich season of the year to reflect, remember, and anticipate the arrival of the Messiah.
