Bible Studies for Life & an Offer for You

January 22, 2013, 0 Comments

Bible Studies for Life is currently one of the most widely used and trusted Bible studies in churches today. As the director of adult ministry publishing, it is one of our most important pieces of material we provide to churches. Currently, approximately 30,000 churches use the Bible study material. It adds up to about 1.5 million individuals studying the material each week. For our team, it is an awesome privilege and responsibility. Because of that, we are constantly seeking input from churches on areas of improvement and new ways these studies can support their ministry. And by simply listening to churches who use the studies we have learned of 3 new ways that Bible Studies for Life can be improved to be an even more effective tool in church ministry.

At the end of this post, we have an offer for you that we hope will be encouraging to you as we are moving forward with some great improvements.

These improvements will help churches connect the unconnected, strengthen families, and disciple people with intentionality and wisdom.

Connect the Unconnected

With compelling biblical studies that are focused on real life issues and with tools designed to help you promote each new study to draw people into a group through relevant topics.

Many come to know the Lord through groups in our churches; our desire is to see groups and classes return to a commitment to reach and connect people. The conversation between Jesus and the woman at the well in John 4 serves as the guiding scripture behind this distinction.

Strengthen Families

By helping parents take the lead as the primary disciple-makers of their families by providing an overview of what the whole family is studying and, for churches who use it across multiple age groups, aligning all ages in studying the same biblical concepts.

Wouldn’t it be great if parents and students and kids were having at least one conversation each week about what they are learning in their groups? Bible Studies for Life will provide tools to facilitate those conversations, the kind commanded in Deuteronomy 6:7.

Disciple People with Wisdom

With studies based on a deliberate discipleship plan designed to mature your people over time.

While addressing the needs church members face, Bible Studies for Life does so with a strong commitment to how the biblical text speaks to real life. And how transformational discipleship really happens. Bible Studies for Life is built with great care, taking seriously the exhortation in 1 Corinthians 3:10.
