Leadership Books to Read Next Year
For 2014, I am planning to read at least one book per week. As I’m putting together my list, my plan will include revisiting some of the works on leadership that have helped me in the past and reading some books that are new to me. Here is a quick rundown of the books on my list right now. What books on leadership would you suggest?
1. Spiritual Leadership by Oswald Sanders
2. The Catalyst Leader by Brad Lomenick
3. Multipliers by Liz Wiseman
4. Deep & Wide by Andy Stanley
5. Spiritual Leadership by Henry Blackaby
6. Disrupt by Luke Williams
7. The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho
8. Innovation’s Dirty Little Secret by Larry Osborne
9. Influencer by Joseph Grenny
10. Leadership Ensemble by Harvey Seifter and Peter Economy
I’d add: The Longview and Derailed if you haven’t read them.

If you have not read it, I highly recommend Al Mohler’s book, Conviction to Lead. I think he did an excellent job of moving beyond the actions of leaders to bring the nature of leaders into the light. I am also enjoying Switch: How to Change Things When Change is Hard by Dan and Chip Heath. Very helpful as an executive pastor whose job is to lead change!
