Star Wars Theme: A Cappella Version by Jimmy Fallon & Movie Cast

December 16, 2015, 0 Comments

Jimmy Fallon is constantly taking little bits that work and expanding them. Though he has hosted “The Tonight Show” for a short time, he has already produced a few skits and humorous bits that are have entered the cultural landscape. The short list would be:

  • Slapback: Jimmy and a guest wear giant foam hands to slap each other during a game of trivia
  • Songs sung by famous people accompanied only by preschool toy instruments. Adele singing “Hello” is the latest and most popular.
  • Lip Sync Battle: The fun that Emma Stone had doing “All I Do is Win” secured this bit as a standard for years to come.

One other bit that he’s done is to sing various songs along with the show’s band The Roots. He often includes other guests to the show. With the release of the new “Star Wars” movie, Fallon, The Roots band, and the cast of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” got together to offer up an a cappella version some of the famous movie themes. It includes Stormtroopers, Chewbacca, the droids, Carrie Fisher, and even Harrison Ford. Enjoy.
